Pumkinpalooza Date 10/29/2011 Time Event Description: On Saturday, October 29, HarborWalk Village will host Pumpkinpalooza, an all day into the night celebration of a haunted Halloween on the Harbor for kids on up to adults, and even the family pet. From noon to 4 p.m., little ghosts and goblins can partake in free kid’s pumpkin decorating and face painting, with a fun Halloween costume contest at 2 p.m. on the HarborWalk Village main stage. Kids can trick-or-treat at any of the merchants’ shops throughout the afternoon. At 3 p.m., the Dog's Howl' O' ween costume contest begins and is open for all four legged costumed creatures. All proceeds from the pet costume contest will benefit Alaqua Animal Rescue. When the sun sets on Destin Harbor, the spirits rise and it’s time for adults to come out and howl. The best Halloween adult’s costume contest will take place at 9 p.m. on the main stage.
